Child-lead learning
It is our belief that a child grows best in an environment that gives them the independence and confidence to learn at their own pace.
When children are given access to specially developed materials in a prepared environment, along with the close observation and guidance of a passionate teacher, this leads to powerful, confidence-building type learning.

We have cabinets specifically designed for some of the different areas of the EYFS framework. Children are able to choose freely what activity to use.

We also have a rolling snack available in the morning that contains healthy options such as apple, banana and orange. Milk is also provided. ​

At Bizzy Bees we follow the EYFS curriculum to make sure the children are ready for school in the best way possible.

Montessori...​
When Bizzy Bees merged with West Wickham Montessori in September 2023, a lot of the montessori ideas and equipment were retained. An example of this is the child lead learning that we believe is vital to a child's development. Please see pdf for a full breakdown of the Montessori equipment we have and their purposes. You can alternatively book an appointment and we would be more than happy to show the high quality resources we have at Bizzy Bees.
